Happy Hump Day, everyone! Tomorrow is the live eviction and it seems like it'll be Bayleigh that goes at this point (although I'm not 100% on that). Yesterday was a rather boring day on the feeds, as we had Xmas doing her fight with BayDay retells and how she's playing with "integrity" and then Cody got word that his grandfather has passed away. (*My condolences to Cody and his family.) There was some game talk yesterday, so we'll go over that in a minute.

Okay, so let's dig into some condensed game talk, shall we?
Day (correctly) thinks David has a power. In other news, Xmas said that while she thinks Davonne will target her/Tyler (*correct), she's not going after Day If Dani wins HOH, she's targeting Tyler (*good luck with getting Cody on board with that).
Dani/Memphis/Nicole/Xmas laughed about Ians autism/rocking back and forth. (*This season is trash, what do you want me to say. *sigh*)
Moving on...
Cody wants Kevin/David/Ian/Davonne out (in that order). He said he'd put up David/Kevin with Kevin being the target because he thinks Kevin is gunning for him/Nicole. Then we have Davonne who is targeting Xmas/Tyler, with a "bigger target" as a backup plan if they were to win veto.
Since the Bayday/Xmas fight on Monday, Nicole/Dani want Xmas to smooth things over with Day because they wanna bring Davonne into the alliance but it doesn't seem that Xmas is ready to do that just yet. Meanwhile, Cody told Enzo having Day would be good for them because they know she'd go after Xmas so that they didn't have to.
And last but not least...
David is still there.
That's it for The Overnighter! We have a new episode tonight at 8pm ET, so make sure you tune for that. It'll be the Veto Comp/Veto Ceremony and probably some Tyler-wanting-to-go-home and Bayday/Xmas drama. It'll be interesting to see how much of that they show, or don't show. Tomorrow is the live eviction and HOH Comp. Davonne thinks it'll be the wall endurance comp. (It'd be a great time in the game for that one, as a lot of them would want to win it so badly.) Were we all watching the same argument? Clearly Xmas is playing the game. Bay trusted the wrong person in telling her Day was her ride or die. That’s on her. They are a couple and Day saying they aren’t is just ridiculous. Xmas was trying to explain that there is no such thing as personal game talk...that’s true. Privileged information would be more accurate. Xmas realized she was excited and said she needed to reset when she started to speak to Bay, Bay didn’t tell her to calm down. Day walked out when she realized Bay walked in. I have no idea why she shut off at that moment. It was going no where anyway. But Xmas did not instigate anything. Yes! I’m keeping them on the block too because I know they are gunning for me no matter what they say. There is no game reset once you are put on the block by someone...clearly a line is drawn at that point and that is not forgotten or overlooked no matter what. Bay did say good game move...I like her. She’s level headed...until she isn’t.
ReplyDeleteThere was a different angle that I didn't post, where xmas had her finger in Bays face. That's why I said I don't k kw how they Bay was so calm. I wouldn't have been. Also later on xmas told BayDay to eff off.

DeleteDay left because the conversation was going no where. Like seriously the worst thing you can do to some who has hurt feeling about what they feel you did to them is to continue to justify your actions. Especially while yelling. So when Halloween started yelling at Day she had to walk away.
Thanks for the blog post. Quick question... in your opinion, what are the topics that production finds taboo and keeps edited out of the show? They seem a bit random to me and don't always make sense. For example, always giving Nicole Franzel a good edit and not showing all her smack talking and crying.

DeleteI am interested in jamie's answer to that also. I know some are production/casting things. Also, they seem to try to not offend some brands, example: they started talking about diet coke and aspertine at family dinner and all that got cut. Anything they would have to pay rights on, like songs.
ReplyDeleteI think they are cutting too much, it seems like there is an effort to make the episodes new content for the live feeders also which i dont get, they watch exactly because they dont want that.
But there are other things too..

Watching last nights show it seemed to portray that the reason Tyler changed his mind during his fake backgammon game with Halloween (sorry I can’t call her Christmas) was because Day told her Bay would be coming after Tyler. Do we think that was legit or editing spin. I leaning toward editing spin.
